Some fun, some relax and some inspiration worth recommending! Chateau Saint-Roux! You can find everything here – for yourself, for your friends, for the one you love, for the family, for children. All of this in a beautiful landscape of the Massif de Maures. Just pure Provence. What is more – it is close to the seaside or – if you like – from the seaside. It depends which direction you take and where you are going. What would a tourist like to hear? It is somewhere between St. Tropez, Le Luc and the A8 motorway. You must step by! The breathtaking red soil and amazing stone pines together with the mystic power of grapevines…

I have visited Chateau Saint-Roux a couple of times and always had great time here. What can you do in Chateau Saint-Roux? You can have a splendid stroll, you can seat inside a barrel, you can have a sunbath or simply read a book. For those who love gardens, there is a vegetable garden. For children – and not only for them – there are animals: rabbits, hens, goats or donkeys. There is also something for cheese lovers.

Every cloud has a silver lining and I found one on Chateau’s website. Under the threat of the global warming, they are experimenting here with grapevines resistant to drought. It buoyed me up tremendously as I have the feeling that it is raining more and more in Cote d’Azure these times…
You can also eat here, except of Mondays and Tuesdays as well as January and February. I have not eaten here during the week but the brunch on Sunday with my husband and friends turned out to be quiet decent. It has much to do with my friend who talks a lot, drinks a lot and also has a great knowledge when it comes to wines. Listening to him is always extremely interesting and gives us a great pleasure. We always wonder if it is possible to save ourselves a few years of drinking and still get all this knowledge. Our livers would be really grateful to us without a doubt. And so would all slogans about alcohol abuse.

Let’s get back to the subject. There are 9 suites and 5 rooms for those guests who come here from far away as well as for those who just simply cannot leave Chateau Saint-Roux.
It is a perfect place for an intimate wedding or any other meeting.
I have saved the wines subject till the end. I need to admit that the boutique gives us the possibility to have a peaceful walk along the shelves. For those not well oriented in the range of products it may seem a little complicated but – well – we finished at a bar and we were tasting… it was average but pleasant. Nothing special, nothing original. However acceptable. I do remember rose due to the nice peach summer. This is what I wish for you all and invite here! Because you can never get to much of relax!
