I continue to move around Gassin. Who doesn’t like it here? It’s an indisputable beauty in itself. Domaine Bertaud Belieu became a small mistery. It looks as good as the Tropezians, or even better. It’s located perfectly on the route with constant traffic jam to St. Tropez, thus it’s impossible to miss it. So I decided to visit this tourist attraction, which from a distance looks as if the Romans were already there. Let’s go!
We went inside and the nice lady in a slightly unfortunate way, deprived us of the illusions of history. The columns came here from Spain, and the whole thing is, as I would rather put it, a brilliant idea following the extraordinary feature of the Franks – an ability to make SOMETHING out of NOTHING. Generally, the whole thing has taken an extravagant look and looks great. I give a huge thumb up for both, the idea and visualization with exceptional marketing. If only the no-parking and no-stopping sign from under the column were removed, and cast iron posts with a chain added, it would be very elegant.
Domaine Bertaud Belieu is mainly basking in the glamour of rosé wines, but not only. However, whether it is the influence of the service or the disappointment of the columns’ history, the wine also seems to be something different than it looked at the first glance.
